University of Northern British Columbia 2026 Convocation and Campus Celebration Regalia Rental

As part of attending a Convocation Ceremony in Prince George, or Campus Celebration in Terrace, Fort St. John, or Quesnel, regalia (gown and hood) rental is mandatory. Caps must be purchased separately through the bookstore as they are not included as part of the gown and hood rental.
If you are planning to attend Convocation and a Campus Celebration, please rent one set of regalia for use in Prince George, and bring it with you for use at the Campus Celebration, where staff will take the regalia and return it for you.

Pick-up Time and Location
Convocation: We encourage all graduands attending Convocation to pick up their regalia on Thursday, May 28 in the Canfor Winter Garden between 9:00am and 7:00pm.  For those unable to do so, please arrive between 7:30am and 8:00am (Ceremony 1) or 12:00pm and 12:30pm (Ceremony 2) to pick up your regalia in the Canfor Winter Garden on May 29.
Campus Celebrations: For those renting regalia for a Campus Celebration, regalia will be sent to the Campus that your Celebration is occurring at. In Terrace graduates must pick up their regalia from UNBC prior to June 2 to gown before arriving at Howe Creek Trail for cohort group photos. In Fort St. John graduates must pick up their regalia from UNBC prior to June 5 to gown before arriving at Centennial Park for cohort group photos. In Quesnel, regalia will be brought to the celebration venue for gowning on-site. Regalia must be left with UNBC staff prior to leaving the Celebration.

Regalia Returns
Convocation: Regalia must be returned to the Canfor Winter Garden by 6:00pm on May 29.
Campus Celebrations: Regalia must be left with UNBC staff prior to leaving the Celebration.

Rental Cost
Bachelors/Masters/PhD (gown and hood) - $30 plus tax
Certificate/Diploma (gown only) - $20 plus tax
