University of Northern British Columbia 2025 Convocation and Campus Celebration Regalia Rental

As part of attending a Convocation Ceremony in Prince George (May 30), and Campus Celebrations in Terrace (June 3), Fort St. John (June 6), and Quesnel (June 11), regalia (gown and hood for your degree program) rental is mandatory. Caps must be purchased separately through the bookstore as they are not included as part of the gown and hood rental.
If you are planning to attend Convocation and a Campus Celebration, please rent one set of regalia, and bring it with you for use at the Campus Celebration.

Pick-up Time and Location
Convocation: We encourage all graduands attending Convocation to pick up their regalia on Thursday, May 29 in the Canfor Winter Garden between 9:00am and 7:00pm.  For those unable to get to campus on the 29th, please arrive between 7:30am and 8:00am (Ceremony 1) or 12:00pm and 12:30pm (Ceremony 2) to pick up your regalia in the Canfor Winter Garden on May 30.
Campus Celebrations: Your regalia will be sent to the Campus that your Celebration is occurring at and will be brought to the Celebration for gowning purposes.

Regalia Returns
Convocation: Regalia must be returned to the Canfor Winter Garden by 6:00pm on May 30.

If regalia is not returned by 6:00 p.m. on Friday May 30, a late fee will be applied, and graduates must mail late regalia returns to:

Campus Celebrations: Regalia must be left with UNBC staff prior to leaving the Celebration.

Rental Cost
BA/MA/PhD gown/hood $30 plus tax
Certificate/Diploma $20 plus tax
